Wow, no journal entries from me in a while. Way too busy. New job, new house, son going to college in the fall. Hopefully I'll get back to posting soon.
Had to go somewhere to express my sadness on the loss of Chris Squire, bassist extraordinaire for Yes. Idolized him during my adolescence. Many hours were spent just trying to isolate on the bass lines of all the songs he played on. This is the first, I hate to call it "celebrity", passing that actually made me misty-eyed. I'm glad I got to see him in concert a couple times. I'm sure he'll be greatly missed, not only by his family, friends, and bandmates, but by all the musicians he influenced over the year. RIP, Mr. Squire, On the Silent Wings of Freedom.
